Before we start taking a look at this new motherboard from Gigabyte let’s have a look at the chipset and what it has to offer. This new chipset isn’t really all that different from the 890FX and SB850. Many of the same features are still the same. So let’s go over what’s changed. With this new chipset one of the main differences is the added SLI support. NVIDIA fans can now rejoice because they will now have the option of using an AMD chipset for their future builds. Intel has been the only choice that NVIDIA fans have had since they stopped making chipsets. The last AMD chipset that NVIDIA... more.

The latest Transformers movies have opened the door to many new types of merchandise that are surfacing in markets around the world. They can range from newly remodeled toys, modified sunglasses, and pc gear. There are lots of fans who really dig this stuff and would love to trick out their gear, Transformers style. I am definitely a fan of this concept and Razer has created a specific lineup with Transformers Edition PC gear. This lineup includes newly redesigned mice, mouse pads, and laptop sleeves. A KVM switch is a device that allows a user to control multiple computers from a single keyboard, video monitor and mouse. If you needed to have three computers on and didn’t want to have three separate keyboards and mice just to control them, then a KVM switch is what you would invest in. And most KVM switches are compatible with Mac, PC, and Linux which makes it very versatile for anyone.I can see that this product will be great for home... more.

Before we get into this new board from Asus let me go over some of the primary features of the chipset. This board uses the AMD 970 and the SB950 chipset. With these boards the AMD 970 is the Northbridge and this handles all of the CPU and memory functions. On the Southbridge you have the AMD SB950 which handles all of the peripheral interfaces.AMD’s 970 is the mid-range level platform for their new 900 series chipsets. This simply means that it has fewer features than the 990X or FX series that was released earlier. These chipsets feature fewer lanes for graphics expansion and might also... more.

This is the new case mid-tower case from Cooler Master. As we have seen in the past Cooler Master has proven that they are one of the premier companies in this market. Their build quality and features are really terrific. We will have to see if this new case in their Storm lineup is able to live up to their previous accomplishments.First ImpressionsCooler Master has once again given us a case that doesn’t quite fit the mold for its price range. This case comes in at about 90 dollars on most retail sites and the features of this case read like an enthusiast’s wish list. This case looks amazing... more.
