Installation of the 2208 offered no resistance to the user as the motherboard offers a jumperless setup process. What this means is the board is setup to Auto-detect the components that are used making your life easier to set the board up but also limiting your control range for such tasks as CPU and FSB overclocking. The BIOS offers some feature options but is mainly geared for ease of use than user control which Beyond the usual task of installing the CPU, memory and cooling solution onto the board before putting inside of your enclosure that is really all there is to the pre software setup. The last thing to do is hookup the wires that go from your case to the board and that is it folks. The board detected all of my hardware right off the bat and I was installing my OS within fifteen minutes of taking this board out of the box. This is a very easy board to work with, a very good board for the beginner also.
