The K7VMA is a very simple motherboard to set up and get running which means it should pose no problem for anyone to install, as it is almost bulletproof. There are no messy jumpers to play with and the motherboard auto-detects your CPU and lets you get a Post very easily.

Like always I first installed the CPU the RAM and the cooling solution onto the motherboard before installing it into the test station as this makes it easier to work with while still mobile and not fixated. The motherboard was mounted by the six insulated mounting holes available on the K7VMA and does not require additional washers for a ground free install.

I did not have to set any jumpers on the motherboard as everything auto-detects itself for an easy posting for the end user or system integrator. All I did was connect the wiring and cables, plugged it in and it posted for me right out of the gate without any problems whatsoever which makes it a very appealing motherboard for people who are green to working with computer hardware.

Windows installation went off without any hassles or system burps and took about twenty-three minutes of total time to accomplish. After the initial OS was installed I immediately installed the VIA 4 in 1 driver and the audio driver before installing the rest of the system drivers such as video and networking. After a few restarts I was ready to install the test software and begin the next part of the review the testing. Want to know how the system performed? Read on.
