The TPower X58 uses a modified version of the American Megatrends AMIBIOS. The menu is split up top into: Main, Advanced, PCIPnP, Boot, Chipset, O.N.E and Exit. The Main menu is where the System Date, Time, and IDE/SATA configuration. The top of the main menu shows the BIOS version, build date and system memory size. The IDE/SATA Configuration is where the SATA drives are detected and where the RAID array is enabled.
The Advanced menu is where the CPU, SuperIO, Hardware Health, Smart Fan, USB, PM/ACPI, Onboard PCI/PCI-E, and VT-d configurations are set. The CPU Configuration is where you can set the CPUID Max value, the virtualization feature, the Execute-Disable Bit, enable HyperThreading and set the number of processor cores active. The PM/ACPI menu is where the Power down features are enabled or disabled.
Onboard PCI/PCI-E devices configuration is where the ATA, Firewire, and LAN are enabled or disabled. The South Bridge Configuration is where the USB functions and HDA controller is set. The tweaking and overclocking on this board are done on the O.N.E menu or Overclocking Navigation menu. There is an automatic overclocking utility which has a V6 (Normal), V8 (Good) v12 (better).
