BIOSTAR ships the TPower X58 motherboard in a black box with the BIOSTAR logo on the upper left hand corner of the box. The sideways T is located in the center of the box. The name of the board is on the bottom along with the Intel X58 logo and the main features of the board. A sticker with the Intel Core i7 world records is in the lower right.
The back of the box has a list of features of the board as well as the specifications. Each feature has a paragraph describing the feature. Opening the box from the top reveals an internal box. Inside that box is a tray with two sides to it. One side of the tray has the SATA Data cables and the SATA Power cables along with the rear I/O shield and HDD cable.
The other side of the box has the accessories that come with the motherboard including the Driver DVD, the manual, the SLI Bridge, a cover for the unused PCI slot. The accessories are housed inside a black Nylon case. The case is a cool feature that keeps everything organized when not inside the box. BIOSTAR situated the motherboard under the top tray.
In terms of software bundled with the motherboard, BIOSTAR really went all out as well. TPower 2 is the overclocking utility. It works on both the motherboard and the video card, assuming both are made by BIOSTAR. BIOScreen allows you to change the POST screen easily. Green Power Utility allows you to use the Power Phases of the motherboard easily, saving energy. BIOSTAR also includes versions of their software including BIO-ReLife, eHOT-Line, BIO-Watch, OC Tweaker and BIOSTAR Flash. BIO-ReLife allows you to resume BIOS from crashed BIOS via a USB drive. BIOSTAR-Flasher allows you to upgrade your BIOS from a USB drive. POC Tweaker is a one click overclock utility for BIOSTAR motherboards and video cards. BIO-Watch monitors the Motherboard and Video card status. BIOSTAR-Flash is a 1-click BIOS update under Windows.
