The back of the box has pictures of the main features of the board and main bundled software. A list of the specifications of the Rampage III Extreme is also located on the back of the box. Opening the box top cover we find a list of ASUS specific features along with a description of each feature. The motherboard itself is showcased behind a plastic cover.

The top of the box has a handle and is where you open it. Opening the box reveals that ASUS has split the motherboard components into two boxes. The top box contains the motherboard while the bottom box contains the bundled hardware and software as well as the manuals for the motherboard. ASUS goes all out with their bundle including SATA Data cables for all ports including two 6.0Gb/second cables, a bracket with two USB 2.0 ports and an ESATA port, the Bluetooth RC kit, the ROG Connector USB cable, a CrossfireX cable, a SLI bridge and a 3-way SLI Bridge.

One nice touch is the cable labels for the SATA cables. These allow you to specify which cable is for which RAID array. The optional fan is also included as well as the Q-Connector kit. The Driver DVD contains the drivers, ASUS’s utilities including TurboV, Kapersky’s Anti-Virus and 3DMark Vantage Advanced. This is the latest 3DMark until 3DMark 11 with DirectX 11 support is released later this year.
