ASUS bundles their Z8PE-D12 motherboard inside a black box with the ASUS logo in the center of the box front. Below that is their slogan “Reliable Server Building Block”. The back of the box has the various features of the board. Opening the box we find that ASUS has included six SATA Data cables, a temperature sensor and the IKVM jumper.  Box  Bundle and Board  Bundle  Baseboard Management Controller ASUS includes a ASMB3 IKVM Upgrade Kit with this board. The kit consists of the ASMB3 IKVM jumper and a detailed manual to use the Kit. To install the board simply remove the Remote Server cover (case cover) and press the board into the Baseboard Management Connector (BMC) on the board aligning the pins and pressing down firmly to seat the board onto the motherboard.
