The GIGABYTE X58-UD7 BIOS is based upon the Phoenix AwardBIOS. The menu is split into MB Intelligent Tweaker, Standard CMOS Features, Advanced BIOS Features, Integrated Peripherals, Power Management Setup, and PC Health Status. The standard CMOS has the Date, Time, and detected HDDs. Note if the drives are in RAID mode they won’t be indicated there.

The Advanced BIOS features have the Hard Disk Boot Priority, Boot device order, and password check, SMART Capability, CPUID Max and Init Display First. Integrated Peripherals is where you set the I CH SATA Control Mode, the SATA port Native mode, the USB controllers, the Azalea CODEC, the IEEE-1394, the LAN and the external SATA controllers as well as the USB 3.0 interface. The Power Management menu is where the ACPI options are set.
The Motherboard Intelligent BIOS is where the tweaking and overclocking in the BIOS is done. You can change the CPU Clock Ratio, the Turbo Boost, Multi-Threading, and the various CPU Features like the C1E, EIST, Virtualization technology and QPI Clock ratio in this menu. GIGABYTE gives a fine control over the features of the motherboard with a variety of settings and ranges I’ll list in this chart. The maximum overclock I was able to reach with the board was 3.7GHz, a 1GHz increase in clock speed over default. Here’s a chart detailing the settings:
