ASUS uses a modified version of the American Megatrends AMIBIOS on their motherboard. The main menu is split into Main, Ai Tweaker, Advanced, Power, Boot Tools and Exit submenus. The Main submenu has the Date, Time and Drive detection. Here you also set your Storage settings. The H55 chipset does not support RAID, but offers Enhanced which is like AHCI.

GPU Boost

The Advanced Menu is where the CPU Configuration, Uncore Configuration, Onboard Devices Configuration, USB Configuration, and PCIPnP Configuration is done. CPU Configuration configures such settings as the CPU Ratio setting, the C1E support and the Virtualization Technology.Uncore configuration menu is where you change the advanced chipset settings including the Memory Remap feature, and the integrated graphics chip. The maximum total graphics memory available to the graphics chip is dependent on the installed system memory.

The Ai Tweaker menu is where the overclocking and tweaking of the system is done. The Ai Overclock Tuner has settings including Manual, Auto, DOCP which overclocks the DRAM frequency by adjusting the BCLK and XMP which sets the RAM frequency by the XMP profile assuming the memory supports it. You can also change the CPU Ratio down on the CPU, enable SpeedStep, and Intel TurboMode in the Ai Tweaker menu.
