ASUS uses their version of the American Megatrends AMIBIOS. The Main menu is split into Extreme Tweaker, Main, Advanced, Power, Boot, and Tools. The main menu has the Time, date, detected drives, Storage Configuration and System information. Here is where you set the Intel RAID on the PCH. The Advanced menu is where the CPU features are enabled and where the onboard devices are detected.
 Battery Power and Reset buttons
Power is where the ACPI settings are set. Here is also where the Hardware Monitor showing the system temperatures, voltages and fan speeds. The Boot Menu is where you set your Boot Device priority, and enable Quick Boot. The Tools menu is where the Speeding HDD settings are, the CPU OC Profiles are set, the AI NET 2, the EZ Flash 2 and MemPerfect settings are set.
The heart of the tweaker will want to use the Extreme Tweaker menu. Here you have control over virtually every facet of the motherboard including Voltages, fan speeds, clock speeds for the CPU, memory timings and much more. ASUS has implemented their CPU Level Up feature here. With an Intel Core i5 750, I was able to use the Lynnfield 2.93GHz setting. Setting the 750 to the Lynnfield 3.2GHz setting caused the system not to boot. Here’s a chart showing the various settings in the BIOS:
