The 785G's Radeon HD 4200 is not expected to outperform the 790GX motherboard using the same tests as that integrated chipset is clocked much higher by default at 700MHz compared to 500MHz on the 785G. ATI's naming scheme makes sense in this light as the higher numbered chipset provides more performance. The GIGABYTE board performed within the same range of performance as the other board I tested on this chipset.
