By default, the ASRock board is clocked at a Base Clock of 134MHz. Due to the nature of the Core i7 CPU where it clocks faster when temperatures are lower, I imagine the ASRock board will have higher overall performance as 134MHz higher clock can make a difference when comparing two identical systems with the same chipset.
