The need for a new test platform for the Intel Core 2 CPUs is really not that important as the next generation Core i3 and i5 CPUs will take over this space shortly and a new platform requires testing of five motherboards with the same components. The performance should be in the same class as a P45 board as the G41 is basically a P45 with integrated graphics. The integrated graphics performance was ok for most tasks but for gaming enthusiasts it would be better to add an add-in card to the PCI Express x16 slot.
