While an E6750 is hardly state of the art on Intel CPUs, the fact remains that this motherboard is targeted towards the mainstream user which will likely not spend the money on a QX9770 CPU. There are a wide variety of motherboards already tested with the E6750 and changing the platform would require a total of five motherboards tested to get a new platform.
