ASUS bundles their P5Q Pro Turbo motherboard in a purple box. The front cover has the name of the board, along with the chipset (P45), the CPUs that the board supports, the main features of the board and the uses of the board (Games, Productivity, Internet). The rear of the box has the main features explained in detail including TurboV, Turbo Key and Drive Xpert.

Opening the box reveals the standard ASUS P5Q bundle with four SATA data cables, the Driver CD, the Q-Shield, and the Q-Connector. The IDE Cable is a bit obsolescent as most drives have migrated to the SATA interface or use USB connections, but it is still useful for those wanting to use their IDE DVD drives. The Q-Connector allows you to attach all of the case wires in one shot.

The driver DVD has quite a bit of software. The software includes an OEM version of Norton's Internet Security 2009, Drive Xpert, and a trial version of Media One, ASUS AI Suite, ASUS PC Probe II, Express Gate and ASUS Update. ASUS AI Suite includes TurboV's overclocking tool, and controls the fans and overclocking of the computer. ASUS PC Probe is a system monitoring tool giving temps, volts, and fan speeds. Express Gate is a mini OS on a not included USB drive that allows the computer to surf the Net within seconds instead of waiting for Windows to boot.
