Integrated graphics cores cannot match the performance of the discrete graphics cores on video cards unless you are targeting the very low end of the discrete market. Having said that, the ATI HD 3300 is the fastest currently available ATI integrated graphics chipset on the market. Do not expect to play games like Crysis or Far Cry 2 with the same settings as a HD 4550 as they are in totally different performance ballparks.
To show integrated performance I chose 3DMark06, Far Cry 2 and Quake Wars. This gives a sense of performance in a recent DX10 game, a recent DX9 game and a benchmark that many people use to measure computer performance. Note that 3DMark Vantage would give an error whenever running it in integrated mode, causing me to not use it.
