With the move to the X58 motherboard chipset we've seen a new motherboard test platform. The DDR2 platform with the Core 2 Duo E6750 while a bit dated today is good enough as there is likely to be few LGA-775 motherboards with DDR2 memory in the upcoming year. The tests show a good performance picture versus other motherboards on the market today.
