Gigabyte EP45-UD3P Motherboard Review :: Gigabyte EP45-UD3P Bundle
Gigabyte really went all out in the bundle for their EP45-UD3P board. Four SATA data cables is standard on most enthusiast motherboards on the market today but Gigabyte also includes a bracket with a 4-pin Molex and ports for two external SATA ports. As SATA has taken off so has the increased use of external SATA devices. The IO shield is color coded and labeled so you know what to insert where.  Box  Rear of box  Box open  Bundle The external SATA bracket deserves some mention here. To install it you have to install a PCI expansion bracket with two ESATA ports on it. You have to connect two SATA ports on the inside motherboard to get it to work. This gives you the freedom of choice, as the EP45-UD3P has eight SATA ports allowing up to 6+2 external at the same time.  Ultra TPM  Ultra Durable sticker The Driver CD contains the drivers for the motherboard and Gigabyte software including the Gigabyte Ontime Management Utility, the Ultra TPM System Security software, EasyTune 6 the overclocking utility Gigabyte uses and Norton’s Internet Security which comprises Norton’s Anti-Virus and Norton’s Personal Firewall.
