Gigabyte has done what they set out to do with the Gigabyte EP45-UD3P. This motherboard combines the features of the P45 chipset, the performance that one expects from a Gigabyte board and the new Ultra Durable 2 technology which lowers temperatures across the board. The motherboard is a good unit worthy of a Hot Product award as the first Ultra Durable 3 motherboard on the market at this time. The 2 oz of copper on the board definitely help keep temperatures down and the performance is right up there with the other P45 chipset motherboards. With temperatures of up to 10 degrees lower than other boards on this chipset in operation according to RealTemp, this board does exactly what Gigabyte advertises.
