Gigabyte EP45-DQ6 Motherboard Review

Intel has made a name out of itself for building processors, chipsets and other computer components over the years. They are the number one processor, chipset, and video chip company in the world today with over 9 billion US Dollars a quarter in revenue, Intel is one of the largest computer related companies along with Microsoft.

Intel’s release of the P45 chipset a couple of months ago have led to a widespread adoption of the new chipset by OEMs and system builders alike. Gigabyte designs and manufactures motherboards based upon Intel, NVIDIA, AMD and other chipsets from a variety of manufacturers. They have several P45 chipsets on the market including the board I’m reviewing today, the Gigabyte EP45-DQ6 motherboard, which from a features standpoint looks pretty good.
