Gigabyte provides enough for the new motherboard user to get started with 6 SATA data cables meaning that you can run four SATA HDDs in RAID 0 and two external SATA HDDs without buying another cable. The inclusion of a FDD cable may seem to be a waste for most people, as the USB Flash drive and other media have replaced the Floppy. The IDE Cable is welcome as not everyone has a SATA DVD-ROM as of yet and there are still IDE HDDs in use.
The Driver CD that came with the motherboard we got was a blank CD with the words Gigabyte Drivers on it. We got an early board without the requisite box or bundle. Online you can see that the bundle comes with Norton’s Anti-Virus software that is common with most motherboards on the market today. Gigabyte’s unique Dynamic Energy Saving utility is also on the CD. As a whole the bundle for this motherboard is excellent for what it’s designed to do.
