ASUS provides an outstanding hardware and software bundle for their new P5Q Deluxe motherboard. In terms of hardware accessories, every SATA port has a Data cable for it, meaning that you can take full advantage of the board without going to your local computer hardware store to buy additional cables. The 2-port USB and 1 port IEEE1394 bracket bring the total to 8 USB ports and 2 Firewire ports without additional purchase. The Q-Shield alleviates the need for installing the connection wires into the case.

The Driver CD has the standard ASUS InstallAll software that automatically installs the motherboard drivers with one click of the mouse. PC Probe II is ASUS’s hardware monitoring software for the motherboard. ASUS Update is the automatic updating software for ASUS hardware that can download and install the drivers off the Internet. The AI Suite is ASUS’s overclocking utility; you can run it automatically and change various settings. ASUS includes a version of Norton’s Internet Suite as an anti-virus software.
