From a features point of view, the ASUS P5Q Deluxe delivers in spades. The ability to run the QX9770 CPU, along with the various ASUS specific features including AI Suite, and ExpressGate means that this board scores near 40 points on our feature score list. The QX9770 worked on the fly without problems without jumpers or other foolishness as other boards might have. From a performance point of view, the ASUS P5Q Deluxe offers high performance across the board with only one anomaly in Aquamark 3. With that exception, ASUS has done the job that we would expect from their reputation. The P45 chipset itself is a minor update to the P35 chipset, with 65 nanometer process and only a couple of new features like ICH10R.
