MSI decided to use an American Megatrends AMIBIOS that they have used with every motherboard in the last few years. The Main menu has various submenus including Standard CMOS Features, Advanced BIOS Features, Integrated Peripherals, Power Management, H/W Monitor, BIOS Setting Password, and the Cell Menu. Most of these features are standard among other manufacturers using the AMIBIOS, but the Cell Menu is where the overclocking is done.

The FSB can be set from 200-800MHz in 1MHz increments. CPU speed is determined by multiplying the FSB by the CPU multiplier of course, so the wide range of FSB options is a good thing. The PCI-E Frequency is locked at 100MHz so changing the FSB allows the video cards and PCI-E devices to operate at the normal frequencies without being linked to the FSB. PCI Frequency can be set from 37.7 or 42MHz.

CPU Voltages can be set from 1.125V TO 1.45v in 0.025v increments. CPU GLT Ref0 voltage can be set from 0.761 to 0.7906v in various increments. CPU GLT REG1 can be set from 0.7614v to 0.7906v in various increments. DRAM Voltage can be set from 1.5v to 3.07v in 0.002v increments. NB Voltage can be set from 0.80v to 2.37v in 0.01v increments. VTT FSB Voltage can be set form 0.90v to 1.3v in 0.02v increments. SB Voltage can be set from 0.56v to 1.52v in various increments.
