This marks the debut of our new AMD platform. While the FX-64 CPU is still great for what it does, AMD has moved to Quad Core CPUs and we’ve decided to update our test bench to reflect this with the AMD Phenom X4 9850+ CPU that is the fastest CPU they offer. The other components are still relevant so are unchanged as are the tests.
