The layout of the board has a couple of minor troublesome areas. First, the location of the second PCI Express x16 slot is almost directly above the SATA port. If a long PCI Express x16 card like the 8800GTX or possibly the upcoming R600 is installed in this slot, the card may interfere with a SATA port. The second troublesome area is the location of the FDC on the far left hand side of the board, meaning the FDD cable will have to be snaked around a 8800GTX length video card as the card will reach the end of the board.

The 4-pin power connector is directly above the CPU area, an excellent placement. The 8-pin connector will not interfere with airflow even with a large after-market heatsink installed. The 24-pin power connector, on the other hand, is also in a ok position as the CPU cooler is angled meaning that the cable can directly be snaked from the PSU. The floppy drive port is on the bottom left hand corner, meaning that the cable needs to be snaked around or over a 8800GTX card if one is installed.

The Front IO is black colored and labeled with the various connections, meaning that you won't mess up on the connections. Next to the FP IO connections is the Power ON and Reset buttons, which allow the user to turn on the computer without it being in a case.
