ASUS Commando Motherboard Review

From a features point of view, the ASUS Commando motherboard is more board than many boards on the market. The inclusion of GRAW and 3DMark06 on a motherboard bundle is unique to ASUS's Republic of Gamer's line of motherboards. From a performance point of view, the P965 based Commando is faster than the competition in terms of speed. The ASUS Commando board gets a Hot Product award for features, performance stability and overclocking. The board does the job and does it well. Intel is set to release a new CPU series with 1333MHz FSB in the very near future. Unfortunately, this board is not ready for it without a BIOS update that may or may not come and that may be a deterrent towards an otherwise outstanding board. ASUS has a list of 1333MHz supporting boards on their website but this board isn't one of them. Perhaps in the future this will be addressed and fixed by these folks, but for now in that aspect it is a bit behind the times.
