ASUS P5N32-E SLI Plus Motherboard Review

As a less expensive alternative to the nForce 680i SLI boards, the P5N32-E SLI Plus board is a good choice for the gamer wanting SLI on their motherboard. Performance-wise the board performs near on-par with the nForce 680i SLI board from EVGA. Feature-wise, the board has nearly every feature that the nForce 680i board would have.

From the layout perspective, the P5N32-E SLI Plus board is identical in nearly every way to the Striker Extreme board. Only minor aesthetic differences exist between the PCB of the Striker Extreme, the high-end of the ASUS line to the P5N32-E SLI Plus board. The price on Newegg for this board is $186.99 as of 3/22/2007. At this price, the board is $20-50 cheaper than the Striker Extreme making it a good choice for the enthusiast. It qualifies for our hot product award as it has many things that both the average builder and enthusiasts can sink their teeth into.
