The P5N32-E SLI Plus board comes in ASUS's trademark black box. The Striker Extreme lineage shows its face here as well. The sticker on the outside of the box says "Due to NVIDIA nForce680i SLI chipset, ASUS only guarantees DIMMs on memory QVL (Qualified Vendor List). Other DIMMs might cause system instability. Please visit ASUS for the latest memory QVL." The rear of the box has a list of the features of the board, and a picture of the board.

The bundle itself lends itself well to the motherboard. Four SATA cables may not satisfy the completist in me but are enough to run RAID 0 on four drives or RAID 1 on two sets of mirrored drives. The 2-port USB 2.0 bracket brings the total on the board to 6. A Firewire port bracket is also present bringing the total to two. The SLI bridge is ASUS's long flexible bridge, allowing it to work on any SLI motherboard.

The Driver CD contains the drivers, ASUS's drivers and utilities. The utilities include PC Probe II (Hardware monitoring utility), ASUS Update (update BIOS from the Internet), AI Boost (overclocking), ASUS Music alarm, the utilities to make a floppy disk driver for RAID installs, and Norton's Internet Security 2006, a combination of Norton's Anti-Virus and Personal Firewall.
