EVGA 680i LT SLI Motherboard Review

We actually ended up having this motherboard on the test station for a few weeks and my techs played every game that is out currently with the board in Windows XP. Windows Vista also worked just fine and was stable enough to run for a week before we just gave up since it wouldn't overclock for beans, but in XP we experienced nothing but excellent results. We also tried memory from Crucial, Corsair, Mushkin and Kingston and all ran without error with standard settings. For overclocking we used only the Corsair XMS SLI EPP sticks.

SLI ran fine with two XFX 8800GTX cards and two 7900GT cards, and even the Gigabyte ATI 1950XTX card ran fine on the board as did the ASUS PhysX card in combination with both the ATI and NVIDIA VGA solutions. The system ran cool as well and our usually hot P4 670 3.8 CPU never reached over 95 Degrees Fahrenheit running in default mode and 106 Fahrenheit in an overclocked state. We ran the system overclocked for 24 hours at the setting predetermined by nTune to be functional and had no issues to speak of. The EVGA 680LT motherboard is stable running and compatible with many different system parts, a solid piece of silicon is to be found here.
