ASUS uses a modified version of the Phoenix Award flash BIOS as the starting point for the BIOS on the M2N32-SLI Preimum Vista Edition motherboard. The primary functions are the same as on the M2N32-SLI Deluxe board, with a BIOS date of 1/10/2007 on the board I received from ASUS.

Voltage options abound on the ASUS M2N32-SLI Premium Vista Edition board. The vDIMM has a 25 step DRAM voltage control. vCore can be adjusted in 0.0125V increments. SFS (Stepless Frequency Selection) allows the FSB to be run at 200-400MHz in 1MHz increments. PCIe Frequency can be set from 100MHz to 200MHz in 1 MHz increments.

Overclocking protection is provided by ASUS's CPR (CPU Parameter Recall.) If the system hangs while being overclocked, just restart the computer and it will set the CPU to the default frequency. In operation I was able to successfully overclock the 5000+ we use in testing our Athlon motherboards to 3.0 GHz from the 2.6GHz default CPU clock, a pretty good overclock.
