ASUS AI NOS is their overclocking system on the ASUS boards. The Asus NOS stands for Non-delay Overclocking System. The patented AI NOS™ (Non-delay Overclocking System) technology intelligently detects system load, not system temperature, and automatically boosts performance for the most demanding tasks such as games or H.264 content.

AI Gear allows the user to set profiles for vCore voltage and CPU frequency to lower overall system noise and power consumption. AI Nap is ASUS's system snooze utility. SATA on the GO is the external SATA port on the back panel allowing for external SATA devices to be attached.

The Q-Connector is a recent development by ASUS that other motherboard manufacturers should consider. By attaching an extension to the Front Panel IO connections, you can attach all of the connections, including Power On, Reset, and Speaker HDD LED etc.

The 965P chipset is Intel's latest mainstream motherboard chipset. Key features of this chipset include the new ICH8R Southbridge. The ICH8R SB supports up to 6 SATA ports natively. The chipset supports High Definition Audio which the P5B-E holds the ADI1988 SoundMAX CODEC. This is the best integrated audio on the market. HDA includes support for multiple audio streams, Dolby Digital Studio and 7.1 Surround Sound natively. If you want higher performance with the system and support for EAX HD I would suggest a Creative Labs X-Fi sound card as the CPU utilization is a lot less with the add-on graphics of the X-Fi.
