The nForce 570 Ultra MCP is NVIDIA's mainstream Southbridge and is a one chip solution. EPoX put a long heatsink on the MCP with a small fan covering it to cool it. The nForce 570 supports up to 6 SATA devices natively. The board contains six Serial ATA ports under the MCP chip. RAID 0, 1, 5 and 0+1 modes are supported by NVIDIA's MediaShield application. MediaShield controls the hard disk partitions in whatever array is desired.

EPoX is known for their extra features. The key features include Magic Health, the system health monitoring application. The boot up screen shows the temperatures, fan speeds and voltages at boot of the CPU, memory and video cards. This gives you a cue as to where potential problems might arise on the board.
Magic Flash is the BIOS update utility. With the AF570+ you can recover the BIOS from either the Driver CD or a backup copy on a floppy disk. Ghost BIOS is EPoX's codename for their corrupted BIOS recovery utility. Magic Screen allows you to change the boot up screen with a personalized screen.

LED
LEDION are three sets of LED lights that indicate whether the CPU, the video card and the Memory are operating properly. If they are within normal parameters the light is bright blue. If not, then the likely issue is there. There is a LED readout on the back of the board that indicates the current CPU temperature in Celsius. Below that LED are the EZ buttons for the Power On and Reset functions.
