Abit uses a modified version of the Phoenix AwardBIOS. There is no uGuru on this board, but the target market is not for the high-end enthusiast, but there are overclocking options galore. The BIOS is broken up into SoftMenu Setup, Standard CMOS Features, Advanced BIOS Features, Advanced Chipset Features and Integrated Periperals.

SoftMenu is where you overclock the CPU in the BIOS. Here you can set the CPU FSB from 200MHz to 400MHz in 1 MHz increments. The PCI Express frequency range can be set from 100MHz to 145MHz in 1MHz increments. CPU multiplier can be set from 9.5-13.0 in 0.5 increments. By lowering the multiplier to 10 I was able to increase the FSB of the 5000+ to 280MHz, which is a slight overclock.

Voltages are handled in the SoftMenu as well. CPU Voltage can be set from 1.35V to 2.00 V in 0.025V increments. DDR2 Voltage can be set from 1.75V-2.5V in 0.05V increments. DDR2 Reference voltage can be set either at -2%, +2%, -4% or +0%. Chipset core voltage can be set from 1.2V-1.6V in 0.04V increments. Southbridge Core voltage can be set from 1.50V-1.74V in 0.03V increments. Finally, HyperTransport Voltage can be set from 1.2V-1.4V.

The standard CMOS features are where you check if your IDE drives are detected by the BIOS. Here is also where you change the floppy drive mode and the total amount of system memory is displayed. Standard CMOS features may not be interesting, but if you have an IDE HDD it's a good place to check to see if you have mis-jumped the HDD.

The Advanced BIOS Features is where you set your boot settings. The Quick Power On Self test bypasses the long memory test to make the boot process faster. Here you can also set which HDD boots with priority, if the system can boot from another device, whether the system seeks a floppy disk drive at boot, the Full Screen Logo, and Security Options.

The Advanced Chipset Menu is where you set the multiplier for the K8 NorthBridge HyperTransport Speed from 1X-5X. The bus width is set here as well, either 8bits up and 8 bits down or 16 bits up and 16 bits down. Similarly here is where you stet the NB-SB speed multiplier from 1x-5x and the NB HT width from 8 up 8 down or 16 up 16 down. The last item on this menu is the video memory for the GeForce 6150 which can be set 16MB, 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, 256MB or Disabled.
