General setting

abit usually includes a solid hardware bundle but no software to speak of besides the drivers and things like uGuru or SoftMenu. The driver CD contains the drivers for the motherboard including the integrated video. There are copies of the NVRAID and NF-M2 manuals on the CD for your perusal plus abit EQ and Flash-menu which updates the BIOS under the Windows environment.

abit includes a bracket that contains 2 USB and a single Firewire port. This bracket brings the total number of USB devices on the board to 6 and 1 Firewire port. Four SATA cables are present in the bundle, allowing the user to take full advantage of the four ports on the board itself. Another plus is the inclusion of two F6 SATA driver floppy disks. These facilitate easy installation of Windows XP or Windows XP 64-bit on a system with this motherboard, as there is no need to make your own driver floppy.
