The FOXCONN board is the third AM2 platform motherboard on our test bench. In terms of features, the C51XEM2AA covers the bases nicely, with SLI, LinkBoost, SLI memory, Firewire and everything else you would expect from a modern motherboard represented nicely. In terms of performance, the C51XEM2AA ranks among the fastest AM2 motherboard yet tested in virtually every test. This is partly due to the use of LinkBoost increasing the PCI Express bandwidth and partly due to the increased default FSB of the C51XEM2AA board of 212MHz instead of the 200MHz FSB that is normally warranted on the 5000+. Despite a couple of problems with the layout and the mediocre overclocking I was able to achieve on the board the good points on the FOXCONN C51XEM2AA outweigh the bad points and I can recommend this board for the new users of the AMD AM2 platform heartily.
