Overall, getting things started on this motherboard was a rather refreshing experience. We took a quick gander at the manual to verify if any of our memory was known to work, and, after finding none of it was noted to, we did the next best thing. Thus, in dropped a pair of Elpidata-Based Super Talent modules, left to boot at their SPD timings (to account for the pitiful 1.8V on the memory). After that, it was a matter of Socketing a CPU, clipping down a heatsink, and draping some power wires across the bench to connect it all up.
The result? A flawless boot on the very first time. Sweet. After this, it was just a matter of dropping in the included install CD, and letting things run their course. Throughout it all, onboard video was utilized, with little issue. Bearing that in mind, let's take a look at the bios which greeted us on the first boot up.
