ECS 945G-M3 Motherboard Review :: ECS 945G-M3 Bundle

Ah, the joys of a minimalisitc lifestyle. Though it may breed a clear mind in terms of lifestyle, in terms of a bundle, minimalism is just plain frustrating. While there was enough included cabling to get all of the big connectors in place, the fact that there are three SATA cables (and subsequent power adapters) not included in this box just irks us. When we first opened the box, we found ourselves greeted by the usual assortment of goods, those being

• A User's manual
• A Driver CD (complete with a wonky auto-install)
• An I/O Shield
• 1 IDE Cable
• 1 Floppy Cable
• 1 SATA Cable/Adapter Bundle.

Now, while one can't say ECS has been cheap on the bundles in the past (hell, half the weight of their Extreme lineup IS the bundle), we would have found it nice to pay a few more beans for the motherboard, in order to have another 3 cables included. But, c'est la vie - when there is a bundle abound, often there is not much to be found - at least with "value" as a claim to fame.
