If you have decided on the Intel CPU and do not care about having the SLI setup of nVidia cards, this is the best motherboard money can buy, period. Top performance, serious over clocking with easy GUI, the most detailed BIOS settings I have seen to date. Competitors will have hard time to match the feature set on the motherboard.

Eight speakers, High definition audio with Dolby Digital Live certification, optical and RCA digital outputs eliminates the necessity of buying a sound card and really offers substantial on-board audio features.

Hot swap SATA capability is heaven sent for me for backup and file transfers without shutting the computer down. Be careful about the BIOS issue I mentioned on the motherboard section on this review. The beta BIOS I received clears all the problems and should be posted on the ASUS site soon. If you are living in US, stay away from the Wi-Fi option. You can buy much better and bug free add-on cards with the same or better features. Even with the minuses I mentioned, the feature set and performance of this motherboard deserves an Editor's Choice for non-SLI Intel motherboard category.
