ABIT really went all out with their bundle on the hardware side of things. The inclusion of 2 IDE cables and 4 SATA cables is especially satisfying. I've seen many motherboard manufacturers skimp on the SATA and IDE cables, leaving one of each. While I have plenty of SATA cables in the test lab, most retail purchasers of motherboards do not.

One thing ABIT skimped a bit on with this motherboard is the software bundle. Most motherboards come with some antivirus software at the very least. ABIT, however, did not include an antivirus program or other useful utility. ABIT makes up for the lack of software with the hardware bundle and uGURU utilities. I'd rather have tweaking programs than outdated antivirus software (as motherboard manufacturers tend not to upgrade the software a year after).

Another welcome addition to the bundle is the SATA Floppy Driver Disk. Some motherboard manufacturers skimp on this by requiring you to make your own floppy disk. My opinion is if you want to make it easy to install the motherboard include both a floppy disk with SATA drivers and the driver on the Driver CD. Rounding out the hardware bundle is a 2-port USB bracket, the I/O Shield, an SLI Bridge and Selector card and an SLI Fan. As you can plainly see the board has its own uniqueness in both its design and layout.
