I really like NVIDIA's nForce4 for Intel SLI chipset, no matter who the manufacturer is. GIGABYTE went all out with their GA-8N-SLI Royal board, far beyond what a normal motherboard manufacturer has done with the chipset. Support for dual-core CPUs is a positive feature on NVIDIA's chipset. Further, GIGABYTE boards have support for their 3D1 cards both the 6600GT SLI and the 6800GT SLI card just announced.

One thing I haven't figured out is whether the problems I had with the XFX 7800GTX in SLI and the Intel SLI boards are a problem with the video cards or the motherboard. Other than that glitch in compatibility the GIGABYTE board is excellent Performance is similar to that found on the ASUS P5ND2 Deluxe board and assuming SLI works, this board is excellent for the gamer. This board has so many features. If our features score was unlimited it would score 55 points, higher than any other board I've ever seen. Wireless Networking, Dual Core support, and SLI support are new technologies and add to the features on this board, setting it apart from the competition.
