Gigabyte GA-8N-SLI Royal Motherboard Review

GIGABYTE is one of the first tier motherboard manufacturers based in Taiwan. Founded in 1986, GIGABYTE is one of the older computer component companies around. In terms of longevity, GIGABYTE has been around longer than NVIDIA, VIA and many of the mainstays of computers today. It once was said that if you bought 100 shares of Microsoft in 1986 you would have over a million dollars today. It's pretty amazing how far we've come in the way of the computer.

NVIDIA is the number one supplier of AMD Athlon chipsets in the world today and always offer innovation in their design to make them stand apart from their peers. Their first entry into the chipset market was with the original nForce chipset back in 2001, around the time the Microsoft Xbox was first announced. Recently, NVIDIA has entered the Intel chipset world with the release of the nForce4 for Intel SLI chipset. The GIGABYTE GA-8N-SLI Royal is based upon NVIDIA's new nForce4 for Intel SLI chipset and offers a features and bundle package that is way above the norm.
