ECS really went all out on the bundle and packaging for this board. Hardware wise the PF88 Extreme has 4 SATA cables and a 2-pin SATA power cable. One thing about the ECS bundle is an included foot long eSATA cable to be used with the Silicon Image 3132 controller. Wireless networking is becoming more and more popular today for computers. ECS includes an 802.11g dongle with the PF88 Extreme making it one of few that comes with this accoutrement. The USB extender and 802.11g dongle allow for a better signal from the Wireless.
Software wise, the PF88 Extreme comes with the WinDVD bundle. WinDVD 5 is the latest DVD playback software from InterVideo. I use PowerDVD in my every day computer, but WinDVD is excellent as well. WinDVD Creator allows you to create DVD movies and edit it. WinRip allows you to burn DVDs. Pro Magic Pro is a "Ghost-like" application. InTouch allows you to access the computer remotely. All in all the software bundle on this motherboard is excellent.
