Foxconn WinFast 755FXK8AA-8EKRS Review :: Conclusion

The Foxconn WinFast 755FX motherboard is a fairly decent motherboard if it didn't have the huge BFG 6800 OC artifact problem. That is the main reason why I didn't like the motherboard. Being a motherboard, it should allow all hardware to be compatible. Many can probably blame the BFG graphic card, but since a motherboard is the body of the system, it should be the one that is problem free. The BIOS is also very lacking with overclocking features. The option of Frequency/Voltage Control is considered a fake advertisement. There are frequency adjustments but there are close to no voltage options. This board isn't aimed at the overclocker anyway. The board performs decently and seems to be rather decent, but because of the issue with the BFG 6800 OC, I highly encourage you to do your homework on compatibility before making the purchase. Coming in roughly $90 it seems to be the cheapest Socket 939 AGP motherboard available. Personally I'd spend an extra $10 or so and go with something else.

Editors Note: Foxconn contacted us after this review was finished and said they will not produce any more of these boards due to chipset shortages in the market.
