This marks the second of our new Athlon 64 PCI Express reviews. Our new test bench is identical to our Intel LGA-775 platform in as many respects as possible. You will notice I have included benchmarks from the Asus A8N-SLI and Gigabyte GA-K8N-SLI boards as well as the benchmarks from my Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9 review. It will be interesting to note how the performance of a regular nForce4 board competes with that of the nForce4 Ultra or SLI board. This brings our test bench inline with the other platforms with the exception of the Socket 754 platform still using an AGP based 9800XT card.
