The Foxconn 925XE7AA-8EKRS2 is the first 925XE motherboard I've reviewed. Truthfully, the 925XE is exactly the same chipset as the 925X with support for 1066FSB CPUs. I'm pretty impressed by what Foxconn has brought to the table with their 925XE7AA. Nearly every feature available for a motherboard today came with the 925XE7AA, scoring 39 out of a possible 40 points on our feature scoring system, which is quite good.

There are few negatives of moving to the 925XE platform today. It's stable, performs the best with Intel CPUs, and has all of the features you would want from a motherboard chipset. Of course, the computer marketplace is constantly changing with new technologies and chipsets rearing their heads every year or two. The board successfully overclocked 15% without issue. With the myriad of options including voltage adjustments, the tweaker will love this board. You can find the Foxconn 925XE7AA-8EKRS2 online for around $200. From this perspective, I give Foxconn some kudos. The Asus P5AD2-E Premium has a price of around $229. The two boards are very similar in features and performance. The Asus board does come with a Wireless Networking adapter, but it's up to the individual if that's an important feature.
