The BIOS on the 9NDA3+ is the standard Phoenix Award BIOS found on many motherboards today. If you've ever used it before it's simple and straightforward to use. One nice thing about EPoX motherboards is the ability to see things like the Temperature of the CPU, the Fan Speed, the voltages of the VCore, the Vdimm and AGP, and other useful things.

The Advanced Chipset menu offers many tweaking possibilities. From here you can change your Hyper Transport Ratios from 1X-5X (offering from 200 MHz to 1 GHz HTT links). The second option allows you to change your DRAM settings: Memory Timings Auto, 1T, 2T, CAS Latency: Auto, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, RAS to CAS Delay : Auto, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, Min RAS active Time: Auto, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, Ros Precharge Time: Auto, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

Power BIOS Setup allows you to choose various settings for overclocking. From this menu you can choose the FSB speeds from 200 MHz to 400 MHz in 1 MHz steps. This is of course useful in overclocking in small steps. The second setting that can be changed from this menu is the AGP Speeds from 66 MHz to 100 MHz. Note some AGP cards are notoriously sensitive about AGP speeds. The third menu is CPU speeds. You can set this from 1X to 25X in 1X steps. My 4000+ CPU has a maximum CPU multiplier of 12 and the menu offered 9X to 12X steps. CPU Voltage control is offered from +0.05V, +.10V, +.15V, +0.20V steps. DIMM Voltage control is offered from 2.5V to 2.8V in .1V steps. AGP Voltage control is offered from 1.5V to 1.8V in 0.1V steps. Finally you can change the Chipset Voltage from 1.6V to 1.75V in 0.05 steps.
