I used many different brands and speeds of DDR2 memory during the testing phase of this review in an effort to see how compatible the P5AD2-E performed in both the standard and overclocked mode. We also use a myriad of PCIe 3D cards in that same vein, and the P5AD2-E was a flawless piece of clockwork that had no problems with either ATI or NVIDIA chipset based cards. The board was not only fast as lighting it was also very stable and ran at full load for several hours with a CPU heat of 131.5 degrees Fahrenheit. This temperature was gauged while the board was enclosed inside of a Cooler Master Wave Master case using only air cooling. The board was rock solid stable in both the real world daily usage arena and the multitude of testing software used to determine its performance scores. For testing this round we used two different CPU's one was the standard 3.4GHz EE running@800MHz and the other was the new 3.46GHz EE running@1066MHz. The 3.4GHz EE is the CPU used in all our comparisons charts for the LGA775 platform so the scores shown are based off that CPU.
