The BIOS is where you can custom control your performance environment, and where the overclocker finds themselves at home. Tweaking the BIOS has always been my favorite way to tweak your systems performance, but with today's much hotter running CPUs you need an intense after market cooling solution with liquid solutions being the most optimal, if not economical way to go if want to get your system seriously tweaked. The board features the AI overclocking option, which is a unique option offered in the BIOS that enables quick overclocking of up to 30% (depends on CPU and RAM). The AI overclocking automatically detects and optimizes every relevant parameter to provide both performance and stability. This is a very good feature that will allow new users to Overclock their system within a controlled environment that will not burn up their board and or CPU. You can manually adjust the CPU Core Voltage Adjustments in 0.025V increments above the default value; this feature is used for increased stability when increasing the CPUs FSB speed. I was able to push my FX-53 up to 2.5GHz without the use of a after market CPU cooler.
