Fast and filled with enough features to make even the most fanatical die hard enthusiasts drool the AX4SPE comes away smelling like a summer rose and even made me want to replace my current board with it. I would not have guessed that AOpen had listened to user's opinions as closely as they did in the engineering and development of this motherboard, but in the end game it panned out very nicely for the end user who purchases one. The overall feel of the board was a positive one in that it had no serious drawbacks or quirks of any kind and ran flawlessly through our battery of tests and overclocking procedures leaving me with a very satisfied feeling about the board. I would definitely put AOpen on my A list of motherboard manufacturers if I were an end user and I will tell you why. First off their parent company is huge, as in really huge and they come from an electronics background dating back many years so they have the experience to know the know how of this industry, secondly they have an almost no questions asked solid direct from the manufacture 3 year warranty that is honored by them regardless of where you buy their board, thirdly the board was laid out and designed to be ergonomic to the user and offered an excellent feature package, and lastly the price of the AX4SPE is competitive against its peers. AOpen has never really marketed their products to the main stream as the business methods of the east are not like the ways of us westerners in the way that marketing is almost an alien concept to many Chinese and Taiwanese companies. Jack Chen formerly of NVIDIA is now taking on the job of marketing AOpen in a much more western fashion and will be their point man in this venture. I think AOpen will soon become a much more recognizable name in the enthusiasts and hobbyist market where the build your own box thing is still mega cool. An Editors Choice of serious caliber is the AX4SPE it rocks! Doc out
